In these modern times a video has become such an important part of showcasing your work as a independent creator. Next to my photography I’ve always had this passion for videography. I am still learning a lot of what is to learn, in regards of film techniques, post processing and what not. I mainly enjoy being out with my camera for both photography and videography, the combination of both is the ideal way to present your work and process. Anyways… here’s a selection of my video work. Back in November 2021 my friend Páll Jokull Petursson and myself were out and about in Northern Iceland. For a few days of landscape photography. Nothing else on our minds. Just two friends out on the road enjoying what we do.
Selfies, but not the typical ones. Selfie is even a bit of a wrong word to describe the kind of these shots in this video. It's about adding yourself (or someone) in a frame in such a way that you get a sense of scale. Showing of a subject in landscape photography. A type of shot that pretty much always works. The human element helps with "getting into" a shot as a viewer. So here's me shooting some of those in Norway, and sharing some shots from other trips.
